Typography has traditionally gone hand in hand with logo marks since the days of the dinosaurs. We know this because of that movie where they recreate dinosaurs on that island and then they get loose and go crazy and everyone dies. We’re sure that movie was called “The Dinosaurs That Got Loose and Ate Everyone” and you’ll never convince us otherwise.
The point is, typography can communicate things which marks themselves sometimes cannot. Either through manipulation of characters or double meanings of character shapes, the text of a logo might say something in addition to the meaning of the name. Or the style of font used might set the tone for the intended message. Often times, clever or attractive typography can stand alone as the logo mark.
We have compiled 50 of our most favoritest ever (forever) logo designs showcasing exemplary typography. Enjoy!
Whoa now! We just came up with this great new idea for our designers. Yeah, you should like this one.
If you’ve been here longer than 5 minutes, you know that we give you a lot of control over your logos, specifically allowing you to set your own prices. Even though you can set your own prices, there are still a few situations where you want to offer special prices for specific logos or buyers. Enter: Promo Codes.
Now you have the ability to create your own promotional codes, which you can give out to your potential customers to discount prices on your logos and create a little bit of wiggle room on deals. These discounts can be either a percentage off of the original price or an exact dollar amount deduction. The promotional codes can also be set to be either applied to one specific logo or be applicable on any of your logos for sale. Adding further flexibility, your promo codes can work on designs already at the minimum price of $250 USD, dropping them below the minimum if you wish.
(Note: Before you drop logos below the minimum sales price, make sure you see how Brandstack’s commission will affect your price. Brandstack’s commission will be based on $250 minimum price, even if your price is lower. For example, if you sell a logo for $150, you will take home $112.50. So that there’s no confusion, we’ve created a Commission Calculator here. Create a promo code then go to the calculator to see exactly what your commission will be.)

How do you make promo codes? It’s quite simple, really.

Negative space when used effectively can be stunning. Cleverly subtle yet powerfully direct, it is a technique that can take a good idea and make it transcendent. One of the better examples of a simple implementation of negative space which says a lot is the FedEx logo.
How long did it take you before you noticed the arrow? One of the signs of a good negative space design is one in which the design does not suffer if the negative space element goes unnoticed.
Some of our sellers on Brandstack are particularly adept at incorporating negative space into their designs. Here are some of our favorite examples of negative space logo designs on Brandstack:
