We recently ended the year 2010 and it was a great year here on Brandstack. A lot of amazing logos filled the last twelve months, and it's a little sad to wave goodbye to the year, but when you look back on all of our Badass posts, it's hard not to smile at least once. We recently ended the year 2010 and it was a great year here on Brandstack. A lot of amazing logos filled the last twelve months, and it’s a little sad to wave goodbye to the year, but when you look back on all of our Badass posts, it’s hard not to smile at least once. We look forward to more of the same in the coming year.

The Badass Logo of the Month for December and last one of 2010 is Matto’s “Lighthouse Architecture.” If you wanted to sum it up in one word, it would probably be “breathtaking.” A drawing compass forms the silhouette of a lighthouse, which normally is quite a beautiful structure to behold anyway. This is one of the more graceful designs we’ve seen here and it’s deserving of honor.

Congratulations, Matto! You’re been a proven designer on Brandstack for some time, but last month you were simply badass.

We’re entering into the holiday season, so why not celebrate some great logos while you’re at it? We’re still getting caught up appreciating the designs which have been uploaded in the past month, but we think we got a good handle on the ones we needed to feature for the month.

The Badass Logo of the Month for October is Instudio’s “Novatori.” This marks the first time since we’ve started doing this monthly segment that we have had a back-to-back winner. We like to spread the favor around here, but this design could not be ignored. The three-dimensional effect is exceptional and the mark as a whole is elegant and kinetic. This logo is going places.

So congratulations, Instudio. Really, being able to design like this meant you were a winner before we even selected your design.

The Badass Logo of the Month for September is Instudio’s Landcake. Did you ever sit in grade school when you were learning about the different layers of Earth’s crust and think to yourself, “That looks yummy”? Very similar to what’s going on here. It’s a clever marriage of ideas and simply well-executed. Yum.

The Badass Logo of the Month for August is VikkiV’s Chic. It’s clever, creative, cute and just about any other word that starts with a “C,” including… well, chic. The design is eccentric, brandable and just badass. Congratulations to VikkiV and to all of Brandstack’s designers.

It’s hot outside here in Texas so let’s conserve some energy, stay cool and move right on to the noteworthy logos of this past July while we power on through August.

This month’s badass logo that stands tall above the rest is Bordo’s Florafina. It’s simple, elegant and easily brandable for example a high-end floral shop, and Bordo also took the time to make some fantastic mock-ups to accompany his posting which really help sell this brand even more. Congratulations to Bordo and to all of Brandstack’s designers.

We’re back with more badass. Let it be known there is a difference between bad ass and badass. We are back with the latter in logo form. Why do we do this monthly segment? Is it for the fame and fortune? Or the girlies we get hanging off our arms? No. We do this for the designers who deserve the fame, fortune and girlies. We want that for you because of the pretty things you make for our eyes.

It’s that time again. Time to be badass. Actually, that’s not entirely accurate since it seems the designers on Brandstack are hellbent on always being badass. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to do this feature every month. It takes a steady supply of ass that is bad to keep something like this going. We consider ourselves lucky to have such a supply.
