Welcome! I like the colour choice but feel it would be strongest without the gradient.
Maybe reduce the type a touch and place it centrally below the mark...

i reckon this would look best on a plain white b/g with the icon in 100% black.
Lets maybe see a strong font to go with it and the mark reduced by 30%. Good luck

this one has potential.. think about more unique colours and backgrounds. Try modern design elements like subtle gradients/transparencies. A cleaner script font that flows better would work... or if in doubt a clean san serif font is the way to go : )
